Creating a YourPerson account is simple:

  1. Visit our registration page at yourperson.com/register
  2. Enter your email address and create a secure password
  3. Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox
  4. Complete your profile information (name, birthday, location, etc.)
  5. Upload at least one photo to your profile
  6. Set your preferences for finding compatible partners

Once your profile is complete, you'll need to complete verification before you can send message requests to other verified users.

To change your account settings:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner
  3. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
  4. Here you can edit your:
    • Account information (email, password)
    • Profile details (photos, bio, personal information)
    • Privacy and notification preferences
    • Partner preferences
    • Subscription settings

Changes to your settings are saved automatically and take effect immediately.

If you wish to delete your account:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to "Settings" through your profile dropdown
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click on "Delete Account"
  4. Enter your password to confirm
  5. Select your reason for leaving (optional but helpful)
  6. Click "Permanently Delete My Account"

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, conversations, and photos will be permanently removed from our system.

If you're experiencing issues or need a temporary break, consider pausing your account instead of deleting it.

If you've forgotten your password:

  1. Visit the login page
  2. Click on "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account
  4. Check your email for a password reset link
  5. Click the link and follow instructions to create a new password

If you know your current password and want to change it:

  1. Go to "Settings" in your account
  2. Select "Security"
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Create and confirm your new password
  5. Click "Save Changes"

For security reasons, password reset links expire after 24 hours. If you don't use the link within that time, you'll need to request a new one.
