1. Eligibility

By using YourPerson, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are legally able to enter into a binding contract
• You are not prohibited from using dating services under the laws of your jurisdiction
• You are not a registered sex offender or have been convicted of a felony or indictable offense (or crime of similar severity)
• You are not prohibited from using our services under applicable law

If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use our Services.

2. Accounts and Registration

Creating an Account

To use certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Authenticity

You may only create one account for yourself. You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts
• Create an account for someone other than yourself
• Misrepresent your identity, age, current or previous positions, qualifications, or affiliations with a person or entity
• Use a pseudonym or false name

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements or that we believe are fake, fraudulent, or created for the purpose of impersonation or misrepresentation.

3. User Content and Conduct

User Content

"User Content" includes any text, photos, videos, or other material that you upload, post, send, or otherwise make available through our Services. You retain ownership rights in your User Content, but by submitting User Content to YourPerson, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, create derivative works based on, distribute, publicly display, and publicly perform your User Content in connection with operating and providing our Services.

Content Restrictions

You agree not to post User Content or engage in behavior that:

• Is false, misleading, or deceptive
• Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive
• Promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group
• Is violent or threatening or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any person or entity
• Promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances
• Infringes or violates someone else's rights, including their intellectual property rights
• Violates the privacy or publicity rights of another person
• Contains any information or content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or contractual relationship
• Contains any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

Prohibited Activities

In addition to the above, you agree not to:

• Use our Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Solicit money from or defraud other users
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information of other users
• Advertise or offer to sell goods or services for commercial purposes
• Use automated scripts to collect information from or interact with our Services
• Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Services or the networks or services connected to the Services
• Attempt to circumvent any content-filtering techniques we employ

4. Identity Verification

To enhance user safety and platform integrity, we offer identity verification features. By using our verification services, you:

• Agree to provide accurate personal information for verification purposes
• Consent to us collecting and processing your identification documents and biometric data (such as facial recognition for selfie verification)
• Understand that verification is subject to our review and approval
• Acknowledge that verification status may be displayed to other users

We reserve the right to reject verification requests or revoke verified status at our discretion. Misrepresenting your identity or attempting to game the verification system is a violation of these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription Plans

We offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions provide access to premium features as described on our subscription page.

Payment Terms

When you purchase a subscription:

• You agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing and payment terms in effect at the time of purchase
• You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for those fees
• You agree to keep your payment information current and complete

Automatic Renewal

Unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the current billing period, your subscription will automatically renew, and you authorize us to charge your payment method for the renewal term at the then-current rate.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• You will not receive a refund for the current billing period
• You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
• Your subscription will not renew when the current period expires

Refund Policy

Refunds are provided at our discretion. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact our customer support with details about your request.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription fees at any time. If we change the fees for your subscription, we will notify you in advance. By continuing to use the Services after the fee change becomes effective, you agree to pay the updated fee amount.

6. Intellectual Property

YourPerson's Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by YourPerson, its licensors, or other providers and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Limited License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Services
• Distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, or publicly digital transmit any content from the Services
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our software
• Use the Services in any way not expressly permitted by these Terms

Feedback

If you provide us with feedback or suggestions about our Services, you grant us the right to use this information without restriction or compensation to you.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that you will find a compatible match or partner through our Services. The results of using our Services may vary based on many factors beyond our control.

User Interactions

We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. You understand that YourPerson does not conduct criminal background checks on its users or otherwise inquire into the background of its users. YourPerson makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct or compatibility of users.

We strongly advise you to take precautions when interacting with other users, particularly when meeting in person. Please review our Safety Guidelines for tips on safe dating practices.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL YOURPERSON, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES.

OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AND IN NO EVENT WILL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless YourPerson, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property, or privacy right
• Your User Content
• Any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party
• Any interactions or disputes between you and other users

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

Arbitration

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be finally settled by binding arbitration, on an individual basis, in accordance with the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration. The arbitration shall take place in London, United Kingdom, and shall be conducted in the English language.

Class Action Waiver

YOU AND YOURPERSON AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

Time Limitation

You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to the use of our Services or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by:

• Posting the updated Terms on our website
• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
• Providing a notice through the Services or sending you an email notification

The failure of YourPerson to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of such right or provision.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent under law.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. Any attempt to assign or transfer these Terms without such consent will be null and void. We may freely assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.
